Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Wrocław Tech) is a leading European technical university combining excellence in research, education, and innovation. Through interdisciplinary research and close cooperation with industry and society, the university supports the development of responsible individuals who address global challenges with knowledge, ethical awareness, and courage.
Wrocław Tech is founded on three core values: excellence, interaction, and openness. It fosters the highest standards in research and education, builds strong academic, economic, and social partnerships, and remains open to new ideas and emerging challenges. Drawing on the diversity of its academic community, the university responds flexibly to change and actively contributes to the development of science, the economy, and society.
As the coordinator and leader of the GrEnMine consortium, Wrocław Tech is responsible for the overall scientific and organisational management of the project, ensuring coherence between research, development, and dissemination activities. Within GrEnMine, the university contributes its strong scientific background, interdisciplinary expertise, and experience in addressing complex engineering and sustainability challenges, supporting the development and validation of innovative solutions for future energy systems.

Tomasz Dobosz – Communication Officer – Wrocław University of Science and Technology
PhD Eng.Tomasz Dobosz serves as the Communication Officer for the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST) in the GrEnMine project, supporting communication and dissemination activities related to the university’s research contributions.
He is a faculty member in the Department of Machine and Vehicle Structures at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at WUST, where he focuses on numerical modelling, 3D simulation, and engineering design. His academic work includes modelling and computational methods relevant to complex engineering systems.
Within GrEnMine, Dr Dobosz supports the coordination of communication between the university’s research team and project partners, helping to present technical developments, scientific findings and progress updates to academic, industrial and broader stakeholders. His role helps ensure that WUST’s involvement in developing and analysing gravitational energy storage systems is communicated clearly and accessibly.
He brings to the project experience in collaborative research, technical presentations, and scientific dissemination, helping bridge the gap between detailed mechanical/engineering analyses and stakeholder-oriented communication.
